Matthew J. Schiller, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments, will be a panelist at the “11th Annual Federal Tax Law Symposium,” to be presented on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 9:00am – 4:30pm at the New Jersey Law Center.  The program is hosted by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Taxation Law Section and Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section.

This year’s Federal Tax Law Symposium will examine the real-world impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 now being felt with the filing of 2018 tax returns. What have we learned that will help us plan for 2019 and 2020?  The program will focus on timely information and planning tips related to this new era of tax reform.  Mr. Schiller will be co-presenter for a session on “New Opportunities in Qualified Opportunity Zones.”

Mr. Schiller concentrates his practice in commercial real estate law.  His work encompasses a wide array of commercial real estate transactional, zoning, redevelopment, taxation and litigation matters throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
