Thomas J. Denitzio, Jr., co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, will present the Middlesex County Bar Association’s 13th Annual Recent Developments in Real Estate Law seminar on Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 5:00 – 7:00pm. The program will be held at the MCBA’s New Brunswick offices.

Mr. Denitzio will focus on a broad range of topics related to the practice of real estate law.  A review of case law will include recent decisions related to contracts, mortgages, landlord/tenant issues, land use, condemnation, title insurance, tax appeals, condominiums and environmental issues.  Mr. Denitzio will also discuss the impact of legislation passed in 2015 that amended Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), imposing new requirements for UCC financing statements.   

Mr. Denitzio's practice focuses on the sale, acquisition, leasing and mortgage financing of commercial and industrial real estate holdings. He also represents clients in commercial property tax appeals, mortgage foreclosures and workouts, tax sale certificate foreclosures and condemnation valuation hearings.  He received the MCBA’s Transactional Practice Award in 2014.
