Meryl A.G. Gonchar, Co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, is scheduled to serve as a moderator at the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s 1st Annual Land Development Summit, to be held on April 2, 2015 at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, Parsippany, NJ.
Ms. Gonchar will lead a panel featuring real estate developers, commercial brokers and bankers in a segment entitled “What are the Opportunities for Commercial Development,” which will include a discussion of the following topics:
- What new opportunities for development are happening right now?
- What types of projects are in consideration for land development?
- What needs to happen to get the market moving?
- Who is active in the market place and what is their risk tolerance and expected returns?
Ms. Gonchar's practice encompasses all aspects of land use, zoning and related litigation. She represents property owners and developers in appearances before planning and zoning boards throughout the state, in connection with obtaining land use approvals and permits for residential, retail, office, industrial and mixed use projects. She also represents clients in land use, condemnation and related litigation before the Superior Court of New Jersey, including prerogative writ litigation. Ms. Gonchar’s diversified experience enables her to provide clients with continuity throughout the often long and complicated land development process. She assists clients throughout the entire life cycle of a development project; due diligence, acquisition, approvals and permitting, financing, leasing and/or sale.
