Hot Off the Press - Brown Bag Series
Stephen H. Knee, Of Counsel in the firm’s Corporate Department, will present a teleconference hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA) Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division as part of the ABA’s Hot Off the Press – Brown Bag Series. The teleconference will be broadcast on March 18, 2015 at 12:00pm (ET), and will subsequently be available as an audio recording on the Bar’s website.
The webinar will discuss topics from Mr. Knee’s recent ABA publication, “Business Divorce: Understanding Its Dynamics and Formulating Solutions.” These include the practical and financial issues involved in closely held and family owned businesses, the psychological dynamics of closely held business relationships and business divorce, and solutions to deal with problems before and after the party’s positions become intractable.
Mr. Knee concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, mediation, corporate law and general business counseling, corporate governance issues, post-acquisition business disputes and business divorces. He serves as outside general counsel for middle market businesses and represents corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and other business entities in all forms of business transactions. He also represents lenders in commercial financial transactions and secured and unsecured creditors in workouts and bankruptcy proceedings.
