Greenbaum partner Steven G. Mlenak will be a presenter for a live webinar on “Administrative & Policy Resolutions Every Association Should Consider.” The program will be hosted by Associa Community Management Corp. of New Jersey on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
Mr. Mlenak will be joined by Associa Vice President Nicole Martone for a discussion on the latest insights into New Jersey’s association administrative and policy resolution requirements and their impact on common interest properties. The program will provide a review of information that associations need to make informed decisions about incorporating new fiscal and policy resolutions at their communities and will explain why associations should consider these steps moving forward. The speakers will share knowledge and best practices preparing associations to make informed decisions on behalf of their homeowners and communities.
Mr. Mlenak is Co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, and concentrates his practice in the areas of redevelopment, land use, zoning, and real estate development. As a member of the Community Association Practice Group, he maintains a strong practice in the area of community association law, providing strategic guidance and general counseling to condominium and homeowners association clients across a broad range of legal issues. His work encompasses the interpretation and amendment of governing documents and by-laws, drafting contracts, collection of delinquent assessments, the enforcement of rules and regulations, operational and maintenance issues, the fiduciary responsibilities of board members, transition negotiations and litigation, Municipal Services Act compliance, and alternative dispute resolution. He further represents clients in construction defect litigation, Fair Housing discrimination cases and landlord-tenant matters.
