Robert S. Goldsmith, Co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, will lecture at the 2022 NJ Planning and Redevelopment Conference, which for the second year is being presented jointly by New Jersey Future and the American Planning Association New Jersey chapter. This year’s conference will be held virtually on June 14-15, 2022 and in-person on June 16, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.
Mr. Goldsmith will be a panelist for a session on “Challenges and Opportunities for EV Charging Facilities,” which will be presented in-person on Thursday, June 16 from 2:30pm – 3:45pm.
The panel includes speakers that represent various stakeholders involved in the planning of EV charging stations, including representatives from parking authorities, planners and consultants. The session will address the challenges that are faced, as well as the opportunities and benefits that are available, when installing EV charging in various locations, including public parking facilities.
Mr. Goldsmith's practice focuses on the representation of public and private sector clients in redevelopment, downtown and urban revitalization, transit-oriented development, project financing and incentives, sustainable building initiatives and public-private partnerships. His experience encompasses the specialized redevelopment issues related to strategy, process, parking demand, design and construction. He also has broad experience in construction and complex commercial litigation, and appellate work. Mr. Goldsmith is a Trustee of New Jersey Future.
