The Hon. Michael R. Casale (Ret.), Of Counsel in the firm’s Family Law Department, will participate in a walk-in legal clinic for people needing help with divorce. The service, which is provided free-of-charge for financially eligible individuals, is sponsored by Volunteer Lawyers for Justice throughout the year on the 2nd Thursday of every month.
Judge Casale will present an informational seminar on the subject of “Filing for Divorce” on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 12:00pm at the Wilentz Justice Building, Family Court in Newark.
In 2016, Judge Casale retired from the New Jersey Judiciary following over 20 years of service as a Superior Court Judge in Essex County. He now focuses his practice on mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences and discovery management. He has extensive experience in the areas of family law, personal injury and insurance defense, which he brings to bear in his representation of clients in complex family and civil disputes, including malpractice and employment litigation matters. His practice also encompasses consultation and trial strategy in child custody, relocation, child support and domestic violence matters.
