HR Forum Virtual Meeting
4:00pm – 5:00pm

Jemi Goulian Lucey, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will deliver a presentation on “HR Litigation Concerns that Transcend the WFH Environment” on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 4:00pm – 5:00pm. The program will be hosted by the Association for Corporate Growth New Jersey Chapter at its HR Forum Virtual Dinner Meeting.

Ms. Lucey’s presentation will address the ongoing impact of remote work due to the COVID-19 crisis and, as this practice is deepening, will explore that as companies continue to get comfortable with the practice, a whole new set of issues has emerged.

Topics to be explored include:

Ms. Lucey is a trial attorney who concentrates her practice on employment, higher education and professional negligence law.  She represents private and public entities and institutions of higher learning in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence matters, Title IX claims, and business disputes.  She also lectures and consults on employment and human resources law and provides guidance related to the practical implications of various state and federal laws affecting employers.  Ms. Lucey is a member of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group and co-chairs the Higher Education Practice Group.
