Meryl A.G. Gonchar, co-chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, will moderate a panel on “How To Effectively Work With Municipalities” at the MidAtlantic Real Estate Journal’s 2nd Annual Land Development Summit, which will be held on March 18, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza in Edison from 7:15am – 12:00pm.  The panel will explore how cities are effectively working with builders to fast track the approval process for projects, how municipalities are working to encourage growth through their relationships with home builders and developers, site selection and development planning issues, and other related topics.

Ms. Gonchar's practice encompasses all aspects of land use, zoning and related litigation.  She represents property owners and developers in appearances before planning and zoning boards throughout the state, in connection with obtaining land use approvals and permits for residential, retail, office, industrial and mixed use projects. She also represents clients in land use, condemnation and related litigation before the Superior Court of New Jersey, including prerogative writ litigation. Ms. Gonchar’s diversified experience enables her to provide clients with continuity throughout the often long and complicated land development process. She assists clients throughout the entire life cycle of a development project; due diligence, acquisition, approvals and permitting, financing, leasing and/or sale.
