Live Webinar
3:00pm - 4:15pm

Alan S. Pralgever, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will be a panelist for the live webinar “Post-Pandemic ADR: Do We Need to Be in the Room Where It Happens?” to be presented at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Virtual Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 3:00pm – 4:15pm. This presentation is part of the Dispute Resolution Track.

Mediation and arbitration have long been viewed as disciplines that require in-person proceedings to be successful. Yet, we know from the past year’s protocols and practices that this is not so. This program will explore what this portends going forward, after safety concerns have been sufficiently reduced. The panelists will discuss the possible benefits of the new technology on the expansion of both court-sponsored and private ADR efforts, including whether remote ADR provides an opportunity to include economically disadvantaged and other populations who previously could not participate due to the need to travel or for other reasons.

Mr. Pralgever concentrates his practice in business and commercial litigation, with a special focus in corporate, partnership and LLC split-ups and dissolutions, condominium matters and representation of associations, estate litigation, employment issues, consumer fraud act litigation, real estate and intellectual property disputes.

The agenda for the Annual Meeting and more details can be found on the NJSBA Annual Meeting page.
