Meryl A.G. Gonchar will participate at the Annual Princeton Conference of the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. The conference will be held on April 24, 2015 at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Princeton, NJ.

Ms. Gonchar will moderate the panel “Real Estate Development from the Ground Up” which will focus on the development process from the perspectives of the developer, attorney, engineers and planner.

Ms. Gonchar, co-chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, focuses her practice on all aspects of land use, zoning and related litigation.  She represents property owners and developers in appearances before planning and zoning boards throughout the state, in connection with obtaining land use approvals and permits for residential, retail, office, industrial and mixed use projects. She also represents clients in land use, condemnation and related litigation before the Superior Court of New Jersey, including prerogative writ litigation. Ms. Gonchar’s diversified experience enables her to provide clients with continuity throughout the often long and complicated land development process. She assists clients throughout the entire life cycle of a development project; due diligence, acquisition, approvals and permitting, financing, leasing and/or sale.   

Ms. Gonchar is a frequent lecturer on real estate and land use issues and currently serves as an instructor for a real estate law class at Monmouth University’s Kislak Real Estate Institute. She is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
