Live Webinar
3:00 – 4:30pm (ET)

David A. Roth, a partner in the firm’s Environmental Department, will be on the faculty for the live webcast “TSCA’s New Amendments to the Inventory Rule: Are You Ready for What Lies Ahead?,” to be presented by The Knowledge Group on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 3:00 – 4:30pm (ET).

A year ago, the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (LCSA) was passed into law to amend and overhaul the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The amendments have authorized the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reevaluate its existing chemical substances inventory on a specific timeframe through the proposed Inventory Rule. The Inventory Rule requires manufacturers and importers to report and submit electronically to the EPA the chemicals manufactured and processed in the past 10 years. This is to identify "active" or "inactive" chemicals and for the EPA to strengthen their focus on the regulatory scrutiny of existing chemicals.

Mr. Roth and his fellow panelists will provide an in-depth analysis of the fundamentals as well as the new amendments in TSCA’s Inventory Rule, going beyond the basics to provide the best strategies and practical tips to avoid potential risks and pitfalls.

Topics to be discussed include:

Mr. Roth has over 25 years of experience in the representation of companies, businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex environmental, health and safety matters.
