Greenbaum partners Jemi Goulian Lucey and Robert B. Hille will be participants in the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey (AFBNJ) Breakfast with the Third Circuit Judges, which will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 8:30am – 10:00am at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

This program will include an insider’s discussion about the Third Circuit, including the process of appeal from filing to decision, how to prepare a persuasive brief, and how to present an effective oral argument. Ms. Lucey is co-moderator of the program and Mr. Hille will also participate in the discussion, which features Third Circuit judges The Hon. Michael A. Chagares, Chief Judge, The Hon. Joseph A. Greenaway, The Hon. Paul B. Matey, and The Hon. Patty Shwartz.

Ms. Lucey is a Trustee of the AFBNJ and Vice Chair of the Third Circuit Committee. She is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on employment, higher education and professional negligence matters. She represents private and public entities, including institutions of higher learning, in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence cases, Title IX claims, and business disputes. She also lectures and consults on employment and human resources law and provides guidance related to the practical implications of various state and federal laws affecting employers.

Mr. Hille is a member of the AFBNJ and its Third Circuit Committee. He focuses his practice in litigation, with a particular emphasis on trial advocacy. His areas of concentration include insurance, healthcare law, professional liability and ethics, and white-collar criminal matters. including those related to professional ethics. Mr. Hille has extensive trial expertise that encompasses insurance defense and coverage cases, healthcare disputes, professional liability defense, fraud and abuse, and regulatory issues. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.
