Jemi Goulian LuceyGreenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that Jemi Goulian Lucey, a Partner in the firm’s Litigation and Healthcare Departments, has been elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the American Bar Foundation’s Board. They support the work of the American Bar Foundation as one of the world's leading research institutes for the empirical and interdisciplinary study of law, seeking to advance the understanding and improvement of law through research projects of unmatched scale and quality on the most pressing issues facing the legal system in the United States and the world.

Ms. Lucey is a trial attorney and her litigation experience includes representing private and public entities in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence cases, restrictive covenant claims, Title IX claims, and business disputes. She also provides counseling on employment and human resources law issues, and provides guidance related to the practical implications of various state and federal laws affecting employers. Ms. Lucey co-chairs the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group, and is a member of the Employment Law Practice Group. She is also the current President of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, a Trustee of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey, and Secretary of the YWCA Northern New Jersey.
