Meryl A.G. Gonchar, member of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, has been recently appointed by the New Jersey State Bar Association to its Long-Term Planning Committee. The committee is responsible for developing and recommending a long-term strategic plans for the Association to the Board of Trustees.
Gonchar is chair of the firm’s Land Use Practice Group, and is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America the Real Estate category. She concentrates her practice in land use and zoning and land use litigation.
Gonchar is a charter member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. She is past chair of the Board of Directors of the Land Use Law Section and a member of the Legislative Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Section of Urban, State and Local Government Law of the American Bar Association. Gonchar served as a member of the Board of Directors of Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women - New Jersey (ICREW-NJ) in the administrative positions of President, Director of Programming and delegate to CREW Network, which is the national organization. Additionally, she is a member of the Executive Board of The Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick.
