Steven G. MlenakGreenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that our partner Steven G. Mlenak, Co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, has been elected Vice President of the Community Associations Institute, New Jersey Chapter (CAI-NJ).

Mr. Mlenak serves on the Executive Board of CAI-NJ, which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of community association living through education, legislative advocacy, shared resources and professional development to the community association homeowner volunteers who govern New Jersey communities and the professionals who support them. As Vice President, he is expected to proceed in lockstep to become President-Elect in 2024 and President of CAI-NJ in 2025.

As a member of the firm’s Community Association Practice Group, Mr. Mlenak maintains a strong focus in community association law, providing strategic guidance and general counseling to condominium and homeowners association clients across a broad range of legal issues. His work encompasses the interpretation and amendment of governing documents and by-laws, drafting contracts, collection of delinquent assessments, the enforcement of rules and regulations, operational and maintenance issues, the fiduciary responsibilities of board members, transition negotiations and litigation, Municipal Services Act compliance, and alternative dispute resolution. He further represents clients in construction defect litigation, Fair Housing discrimination cases and landlord-tenant matters.
