Gary S. Forshner, co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, will moderate a live webinar on “COVID Issues in the Building Industry,” which will be presented on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. The program is being presented by the New Jersey Builders Association for NJBA members. Jemi Goulian Lucey, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will be a panelist for the presentation.

This webinar will explore the multitude of issues that builders and business owners face due to the COVID-19 health emergency. Topics to be discussed include updates on legislative and executive action in Trenton and Washington D.C.: construction as an essential service, worker safety, inspections, permit extensions, tax deferrals, planning and zoning board procedures, evictions, employment, mortgage forbearance, lending, title recording, electronic signatures, bankruptcy, insurance, information technology, business assistance programs, and more.
