As healthcare industry employers move forward in the era of COVID-19, an understanding of the federal and state employment law landscape is critical. This webinar will provide up-to-the minute practical guidance related to navigating compliance with pandemic-triggered legislation such as the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, OSHA guidelines and state-specific protections of employees affected by COVID-19. Other topics to be addressed include taking advantage of federal and state measures aimed at alleviating financial burdens for employers such as PPP loans and employers’ tax credits, minimizing litigation risks, and taking proactive steps to prepare for a possible new wave of pandemic infections.
