Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP proudly announces that Jessica M. Carroll and David C. Scott have been selected by the New Jersey Law Journal for inclusion on its 2023 list of “New Leaders of the Bar.” They will be honored at the 2023 New Jersey Legal Awards ceremony on September 13, 2023 at the Park Chateau Estate in East Brunswick.

The New Jersey Law Journal’s New Leaders of the Bar list highlights attorneys yet to reach the age of 40 who bring both notable achievements and outstanding potential to the table in their work in law firms, corporate legal departments, or in other organizations. Criteria considered for this recognition includes the nominees’ development of the law, advocacy and community contributions, service to the Bar, and peer/public recognition.

Jessica M. CarrollMs. Carroll concentrates her practice in litigation, with an emphasis on representing healthcare providers at both the state and federal levels and within arbitration forums. She serves as counsel for hospitals in medical staffing and peer review disciplinary matters and provides risk management guidance on issues at the intersection of various state laws and medical licensing regulations. Her work also includes the representation of hospitals, physicians, physician practices, and pharmaceutical companies in matters related to restrictive covenants, breach of contract, violations of due process and fundamental fairness, defamation and trade libel claims, as well as matters related to professional licensure and credentialing.  

David C. ScottMr. Scott's environmental law practice emphasizes transactions, permitting, and regulatory compliance. He provides counsel on environmental risks associated with real estate and business transactions, methods for mitigating those risks, and strategies for addressing environmental issues when they arise. He has also played a significant role in the representation of private equity firms, manufacturers, retailers, lenders, and developers in mergers, divestitures, acquisitions, and the purchase and sale of commercial and industrial real estate properties, providing guidance related to the environmental compliance aspects of these transactions.
