Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis is pleased to announce that Robert J. Flanagan III and Steven G. Mlenak have been selected for inclusion on the New Jersey Law Journal’s list of 2018 “New Leaders of the Bar.” The publication annually recognizes the career accomplishments of young lawyers who have established themselves as leaders within their firms and organizations, as well as within the larger legal community. Mr. Flanagan and Mr. Mlenak will be honored at the Law Journal’s Professional Excellence Event on June 21, 2018 at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park.

Robert J. Flanagan IIIMr. Flanagan is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.  He concentrates his practice in litigation, including substantial work in all aspects of both state and federal civil and criminal litigation pre-trial, trial, and appellate practice. His experience is focused in the areas of banking and creditors’ rights, white collar criminal defense, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury, community association law, and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Community Associations Institute - New Jersey Chapter, where he chairs the Business Partners Committee. He is also a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association and Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. Mr. Flanagan earned the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).  He received his J.D. cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law and earned his B.S. from Lehigh University.

Steven G. MlenakMr. Mlenak is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of redevelopment, land use, zoning, and real estate development. His clients include property owners and developers engaged in mixed use, residential, industrial, commercial, office, retail and affordable housing projects. He is a member of the Community Associations Institute - New Jersey Chapter, where he serves on the Membership Committee and is a former member of the National Legislative Action Committee – NJ.  He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey Builders Association, the New Jersey Apartments Association and the New Jersey Property Owners Association.  He received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark and earned his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
